Around Minori
Minori was chosen by the ancient Roman patricians for their summer residences. In medieval times, until 1039, it was the military arsenal and shipyard of the Maritime Republic of Amalfi. It was the seat of the bishop from 987 to 1818.
The Roman Villa is built on two floors in the style of a seaside villa and its museum, the antiquarium, is well worth visiting. Here are some photos.
